INVITATION TO DANCE:  

This class is for Kindy aged children (5 yrs up) and a lovely introduction to the world of dance. The class incorporates both jazz and ballet, with a half hour of fun and funky jazz moves, then a 30 minute RAD Primary ballet class.                       

INFANTS JAZZ:  

Students from school years 1 and 2 combine for a fun and varied jazz class with a little contemporary dance along the way. There is an option to participate in the 30 minute Primary ballet class beforehand (4.30pm) for those who would like to give ballet a try as well.

JUNIOR PRIMARY JAZZ/CONTEMPORARY: 

Younger Primary aged students enjoy a great workout with stretch, strengthening, jazz and some basic contemporary dance moves.

SENIOR PRIMARY JAZZ/CONTEMPORARY:

Our older Primary school students combine for a more intensive jazz and contemporary workout class. 

RAD BALLET:   Primary to Grade 6 and Intermediate Foundation in 2012   ( Examinations are an option and conditions apply )

HIGHSCHOOL JAZZ /CONTEMPORARY CLASSES  Contact Barker Dance to discuss suitable timeslot for your age/ability.

HIP HOP (JFH) for students from year 5 upwards.  Classes will be held on Wednesdays this year.

STRETCH/TECHNIQUE CLASSES  To improve students flexibility and core strength.

MUSICAL THEATRE/TAP  

Students from year 4 through to our senior students are invited to join Miss Katrina on Fridays for a very entertaining 90 mins of fun theatre based dance and activities, and a little bit of tap. We will sample and play with songs and dances from various musicals and work together to create some wonderful theatre routines which are always a highlight of our end of year concerts.

DANCETIME WITH MISS KATRINA

Our highly popular preschool classes are held a few mornings a week.  With an emphasis of dance we also include some fun variations with drama, games, sports, gymnastics and dress ups. There are no uniform requirements, and students are encouraged to wear their own choice of dance wear or dress up clothes. Our preschool class is always a highlight of their week.
